Clean the table surface and the bottom of the plate thoroughly. Any dust or debris can prevent the suction cup from creating a tight seal.

Press the suction cup firmly onto the table surface, making sure that it is evenly in contact with the table.

If the suction cup doesn't seem to be sticking well, try wetting the suction cup slightly before attaching it to the table.

Make sure the table surface is smooth; avoid using the plate on a textured surface as it will weaken the suction.
